    Pixelh8 added to speakers

    Pixelh8 (Matthew Applegate) is described as a Multidisciplinary Artist and Techno Anthropologis! He has featured on BBC Radio 1 and Radio 6 and is also a published author and a regular contributor to Wired Magazine.

    An Internationally renowned chip tune musician Pixelh8 makes his music from reprogramming vintage computer systems such as the ZX spectrum, Commodore 64 and Game Boy.

        Adam Mayes added to speakers at Game Based Learning Event

        Adam Mayes game design experience stretches back more than 25 years. He’s penned traditional pen and paper role playing games, worked on major franchises including Far Cry and Star Trek and currently specialises in mobile and community led games, developing new and insightful mechanics that encourage players to collaborate to achieve their goals.

        Suffolk Game Based Learning – 11th November 2009!

        Continuing on from the success of the Norfolk e-learning forum Real Projects are excited to announce a game based e-learning forum in Suffolk. The forum will take place at the Waterside Building, University Campus Suffolk (UCS), Ipswich.

        Speaking will be Dan Myers, an experienced games designer with an extensive portfolio to his name which includes Disney, Eidos, Playstation Magazine and development work on the Tomb Raider series.

        There will also be the opportunity to experiment with a range of games devices and experience how e-learning is utilising them to deliver e-learning in a fun way. Students  from the university will also be showcasing their own game designs.
